The Issues

Sales for June 2023 Before Rocky Mountain Co

3rd Party ReSellers – AquaOmega is a well-known brand. Thanks to the quality of their supplements, they are well positioned in the customer’s mind; however, sales on Amazon were not reflecting this. Third party retailers were obtaining and selling products below MAP pricing and de-valuing the brand across its multiple platforms.

SEO – The brand was experiencing issues with product indexing and ranking. It was being driven by advertising sales and relying otherwise on its off Amazon brand presense.

PPC – There were only automatic Sponsored Products campaigns running, and no strategy to add more advertising styles.

Catalog –  Amazon mixed the parentages, type of products, and some were not displaying the correct sizing on the product page.

The Fixes

Conversion Rate

  • Even after optimizing the listings, we felt there was more opportunity for improvement. We ran AB title and image tests and discovered which formats worked best for the brand.

  • We continuously test main images and copy to stay in trend within Amazon so that we can increase the conversion rate.

Third Party Resellers

  • Assisted Aqua Omega eliminate 3rd party retailers on their Amazon listings using Amazon sponsored tools, allowing them to control pricing and earn back brand and pricing equity

Marketing & Design

  • We defined our ideal customer’s primary persona, purchasing AquaOmega’s products, using data from Amazon Analytics, reviews, and other information available on Amazon platform.

  • By gathering this data we worked with the brand to get created A+ Content, Infographics, video and Copywriting to address main customer pain points & concerns. To reduce returns that have a big impact on the bottom line.

Advertizing

  • Sponsored Product Ads – Targeting main competitors, main keywords & long tail keywords that bring sales. Also introducing phrase and broad match types.

  • Sponsored Brand Ads – Increase Brand Reach and awareness with competition keywords.

  • Defensive Campaigns – Target our listings, so our products appear everywhere on our product display pages.

Catalog fixes

  • We reviewed all the parentages so we could troubleshoot inconsistencies on sizing and add additional parentage types to offer better shopping options for customers.
